ERA Napa Valley 2021

The 2021 ERA represents the pinnacle of Alpha Omega’s winemaking artistry, blending fruit from some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated appellations, including Oakville, Yountville, St. Helena, and Mount Veeder. Crafted only from the finest vineyard lots, ERA showcases the unique character of the vintage while embodying Napa Valley's diverse terroir.

Composed of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot, and 2% Malbec, this wine underwent fermentation in 100% French oak (50% new), followed by 18 months of aging in the same barrels.

On the nose, ERA opens with complex aromas of red currant, blackberry, and black cherry, intertwined with hints of anise, roasted espresso bean, sponge toffee, graphite, and violets. The palate delivers a broad, rich entry of layered dark cherry and blackberry fruits, accented by notes of lavender, caramel cream, and dark earth. A long, firm finish completes this powerful yet elegant wine.
