Crafted from all five classic Bordeaux varietals, this wine brings together fruit from Napa Valley's finest sub-AVAs, including mountain-grown grapes from Spring Mountain, hillside-grown grapes from Rutherford, and valley floor grapes from Oak Knoll District. Aromas of black cherry, plum, and brandied red currant are complemented by notes of rosemary, French toast, and cocoa. On the palate, broad and rich flavors of red and black cherry are accompanied by thyme, summer truffle, anise, and hints of pipe tobacco. Aged for 21 months in French oak (40% new), this magnum is ideal for aging or sharing during special celebrations.
