Proprietary Red Napa Valley 2022

The 2022 Proprietary Red Napa Valley exemplifies Alpha Omega’s blending expertise, seamlessly combining all five classic Bordeaux varieties to create a dynamic and expressive wine. This vintage is composed of 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 19% Malbec, 15% Petit Verdot, and 6% Cabernet Franc, sourced from a selection of valley floor, hillside, and mountain vineyards.

On the nose, ripe aromas of dark cherry, plum, and cassis are complemented by layers of fennel, purple flowers, and sweet tobacco. The palate is broad and medium to full-bodied, offering bright flavors of cherry, mulberry, and red currant, accented by notes of tobacco and graham cracker. Fermented in both French oak barriques and stainless steel tanks, this wine was aged for 18 months in French oak, 30% new, adding elegance and complexity.
