Alpha Omega’s “X” is a wine born in a select few of Napa Valley’s most acclaimed and historically important vineyards, elevated to its highest potential by intuitive, sustainable farming and meticulous winemaking.
The potential components of “X” come from carefully selected blocks within these coveted vineyards. Our winemakers taste hundreds of individual lots from these blocks and only truly exceptional barrels are branded with a white chalk “X.” It's akin to the Medal of Honor in our cellar, a mere handful of each vintage's top performers. Once the barrels are selected, the components of “X” are blended with precision and begin a nearly three-year journey in French oak, followed by an additional two years of bottle aging.
Released at our winemakers’ discretion, “X” represents a blend of unmatched terroir, exacting standards and incredible patience that combine to create a remarkable masterpiece. As our most exclusive bottling, only three barrels were produced.
